Deputy Máximo Kirchner and his sister Florencia asked to take advantage of a five-installment payment plan to start paying the Solidarity and Extraordinary Contribution, better known as the “wealth tax”, a law promoted by him and passed in Congress.

In total, the oldest son of the vice president will

have to pay $ 7,700,889

and his younger sister a slightly lower figure,

$ 7,298,368.

The person in charge of presenting the proposal was their lawyer, Carlos Beraldi, who submitted an accounting report to the AFIP where he asks both to pay the tribute in installments with the excuse that they are facing a complex judicial situation.

The request to quote the wealth tax was based on the fact that the Justice determined that the fiscal debts of Máximo and Florencia Kirchner must face them with the funds that are under judicial administration.

The Kirchner accountant, María Cecilia García, reported that the auditors had told her that they did not have the funds available to pay 100% of the tax promoted by Kirchner, which is why she requested a payment plan.

With his fortune seized, the leader of La Cámpora was not exempt from facing the new tax: those who have assets of 200 to 300 million pesos, must contribute 2%.

In this way, they will be obliged to pay almost 12,000 taxpayers.

How is the proposed scale?

Those who have assets of 200 million pesos must pay 2%.

That rate rises to 2.25% for fortunes between 300 and 400 million pesos;

at 2.50% between 400 and 600 million pesos.

The rise continues at 2.75% for those who own a fortune of 600 to 800 million pesos.

The scale continues: 3% tax on assets between 800 and 1,500 million pesos;

3.25% to those from 1,500 million to 3,000 million, and finally 3.5% to those who have assets over 3,000 million pesos.

With his fortune completely seized, Deputy Máximo Kirchner was included in the universe of taxpayers who must pay this wealth tax, since he declared that he had 292 million pesos: in one year his assets grew almost 50%.

The patrimony of the vice president's son is largely the product of the assets inherited by Néstor Kirchner.

This heritage includes 25 properties, the shareholding in three companies (Los Sauces SA, Hotesur SA, CoMa SA), there was a set of fixed terms that resulted years later in the 6 million dollars that the Justice found in a safe deposit box on behalf of Florencia Kirchner.

Both must pay the tax on great wealth, as detailed in an accounting report accessed by Clarín and which was submitted to the Federal Oral Court 5 (TOF 5), two of its judges -Daniel Obligado and Adrián Grünberg-, decided more than twenty days, return to the Kirchners the management of the companies investigated for money laundering, and the administration of the properties.

What happens is that they continue to be seized in both cases for laundering maneuvers.

For this reason, due to not being able to dispose of her fortune and since the transfer of the respective administrations that for four years were in charge of judicial auditors, the family accountant asked that both children of Cristina Kirchner enter a payment plan for said tax.

The request is based on the fact that the Justice determined that the fiscal debts of Máximo and Florencia Kirchner generated by the taxes that they must face for the intervened patrimony "be paid with the funds of the condominium," recalled the accountant María Cecilia García.

According to the documentation presented to the Justice, the Sworn Declaration corresponding to the solidarity and extraordinary contribution established in Law 27,605 was presented, which yielded a balance in favor of the AFIP that amounts to just over seven and a half million pesos, with respect to Máximo Kirchner and a similar figure on his sister. The proposed plan is for five installments each, which will generate that for applied interest they end up paying, the deputy about 8.3 million pesos and Florencia Kirchner about 7.6 million pesos. On September 26 of this year, they will finish paying the wealth tax according to the simulation provided by the accountant.

The Justice, through the intention of the Condominium, also began to pay the moratorium to which Máximo Kirchner agreed for tax debts of almost 4 million pesos generated by the set of inherited properties.

Her sister's debt is similar and is also included in an ease of repayment plan.

There are 96 in total, but once they return to manage their properties and companies, they will have to take charge of the receivables before the AFIP as well.

The fortune of the Kirchners

Since March 2016 Cristina Kirchner granted all her assets in equal parts to her two children, which also increased the assets declared by the national deputy.

Since then the main fortune of the Kirchner family has been Maximo.

Before the Anticorruption Office (OA) he declared to have 291,739,213.02 pesos, which represents an increase of almost 100 million in one year compared to the previous fiscal period.

This figure is higher than the assets that Cristina Kirchner had when she left the Casa Rosada, when she declared assets for 77 million pesos.

The national deputy declared among his assets a savings account in dollars, with 516,072.46 dollars as a result of the inheritance, which he admits was equivalent to 30,804,365.14 pesos when he signed the declaration.

It is not the only thing that declared in foreign currency.

In his affidavit he also entered another savings bank with $ 2,332,000, also a product of the inheritance, which in local currency is equivalent to 139,197,080 pesos.

That is, Máximo said he had a total of 2,848,072 dollars.

Almost three million, with an exchange rate of 59.69 pesos.

It becomes the main basis of your wealth.

Regarding the properties that he declared, of those 27 properties, two were bought with his own income and the rest are the product of the inheritance received: They have a value of $ 89,801,321.

Despite the declared figure, Máximo Kirchner faces two legal proceedings for money laundering and in one of those cases he was prosecuted as the organizer of the criminal maneuvers, the vice president being the head of the illicit association, according to the accusation.

In total, their embargoes exceed 900 million pesos.
