Portugal

  • Monday April 5: Reopening of terraces, cafes and restaurants, storefront shops and non-food markets.


  • Monday April 19: Reopening of shopping centers, interiors of cafes and restaurants, performance halls, high schools and universities.


  • Scheduled for Monday, May 3: Return of public events outside, if the evolution of the health situation allows it.

Greece

  • Monday April 5: Reopening of non-essential shops.


  • Monday April 12: Reopening of high schools.


  • Monday May 3: Reopening of the terraces of bars and restaurants.


UK

  • Monday April 12: Reopening of pub terraces, hairdressing salons, non-essential shops and sports halls.

    The English can also go back to spas, libraries or even go to the zoo and go on vacation to England, as long as they stay among members of the same household.


  • Scheduled for Monday, May 17: Reopening of indoor catering, hotels, performance halls and stadium stands with limited capacity.

Ireland

  • Monday April 12: Reopening of schools.

    People from different households can meet outside and non-essential travel is allowed up to 20 kilometers in his department of residence.


  • Scheduled for May 4 (if the health situation allows it and the vaccination target is reached): Gradual reopening of non-essential shops, hairdressing salons, libraries and museums.

    Bars and restaurants may have to wait until summer.

Belgium

  • Monday April 19: Reopening of schools and lifting of the ban on non-imperative foreign travel.


  • Scheduled for Monday April 26: Reopening of hairdressers and non-essential shops.


  • Scheduled for Saturday May 8: Reopening of the terraces of bars and restaurants, flea markets, leisure parks and sports halls (within the limit of 25 people).

Swiss

  • Monday April 19: Reopening of restaurant terraces, cinemas or sports halls.

    It is possible to organize events welcoming the public, for example in stadiums, cinemas or concert halls and theaters.

    Indoor sporting and cultural activities will also be permitted again, including certain competitions.

Italy

  • Scheduled for Monday April 26: Restaurants reopen to the public for lunch and dinner, but only in the open air and in areas classified as “yellow” (ie those with the lowest risk of contagion). Cinemas, theaters and concert halls may also reopen, but remaining below 50% of their maximum capacity, with a ceiling of 1,000 spectators for open-air halls and 500 for closed halls. Schools, colleges and universities will give priority to face-to-face courses. Travel between "yellow" regions will also be permitted. The curfew will however remain in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.


  • Scheduled for May 15: Reopening of outdoor swimming pools and shopping centers will be allowed to reopen on weekends when they could only accommodate the public during the week.


  • Scheduled for June 1: Bars and restaurants will also be able to welcome customers in closed places, but only between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m.

    Gyms will reopen as well as stadiums but only at 25% of their maximum capacity.


  • Scheduled for June 15: Reopening of the fairs.


  • Scheduled for July 1: Reopening of congresses, spa centers and theme parks.

Netherlands

  • Scheduled for Wednesday April 28: Partial reopening of café terraces.

    They can reopen between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. and accommodate a maximum of 50 people at the same time.

    Universities and high schools will also gradually reopen and non-essential businesses will be able to accommodate more customers at the same time.

    The Dutch will also be allowed to invite two people to the house per day, instead of just one currently.

    The curfew will also be lifted.

Greece

  • Scheduled for Monday May 3: Reopening of bar and restaurant terraces.


  • Scheduled for May 14: Reopening of the borders.

Spain

  • Scheduled for Monday, May 10: end of the state of health emergency, which should facilitate travel between autonomous regions and the restart of internal travel.

In Spain, bars, restaurants and non-essential shops have reopened since the end of February, with varying restrictions depending on the region. A curfew is in effect throughout Spain with hours varying by region, ranging from 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. to 6 or 7 a.m.
