Seven of the 18 police officers of the anti-crime brigade of the northern districts of Marseille prosecuted for the theft of drugs or money were released and the 11 others received suspended sentences of two months to one year in prison on Thursday.

The court was able to observe important and serious dysfunctions
" within this police service, declared the president of the correctional court of Marseilles while rendering its judgment.
The defendants, 15 of whom are still police officers, then left the court to the applause of many of their colleagues but also of Senator RN of Bouches-du-Rhône Stéphane Ravier.
