The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Muhammad Abd Al-Sattar Al-Sayed said in a press statement that after the success of the first market, the second market was opened in Al-Talaea Park in the Western Ghamqa neighborhood to be closer to the citizens, adding that the charitable markets came within the framework of solidarity and solidarity that took place between the governmental and private sectors, indicating the satisfaction of citizens About these markets through their opinions and impressions about the price difference in them from other markets.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mazen Hammad, pointed in a similar statement to the importance of the market after the success of the first market in the old Tartous hall on the sea corniche and the great demand for it, indicating that the opening of the second market in Al-Tala`a Park was due to the desire of the people of Tartous, saying that it is noticeable that the competition and the distinctive prices in the market Ramadan charity.

Muhammed al-Omar, organizer of the festival, confirmed that Tartous was distinguished from the rest of the governorates by opening the market in two different places in order to save the citizen the burden of transportation, pointing out that these markets aim to support the citizen by selling industrialists their products to citizens at cost price, adding that there are several companies that made offers to attract visitors to take advantage of the discounts. Mohamed Hassan, agent of a foodstuff company, pointed out that the company provides a variety of basic food commodities such as oil, ghee, sugar and rice at a lower price than the prices of the rest of the markets and stores, pointing to the commitment to the bulletins issued on a daily basis by the concerned authorities, in which the prices are noticed continuously.

The opening was attended by the Governor of Tartous, Attorney Safwan Abu Saadi, the Secretary of the Baath Party branch in the governorate, Muhammad Habib Hussein, the head of the city council, Judge Muhammad Zain, and the director of the endowments, Abdullah Al-Sayed.
