The district of Maladrerie, in Aubervilliers, was the scene of a fight with tragic consequences during the night from Thursday to Friday.
An 18-year-old man was fatally wounded with a stabbing weapon, says the Bobigny prosecutor's office.
The alleged perpetrator of this homicide, a minor, went to the police.
The facts are said to have occurred shortly after midnight.
The police were alerted around 1 a.m. that a young man had just been injured by a knife at number 7 rue de la Maladrerie.
The person who stabbed him fled before the officials arrived.
The victim presented with a bleeding wound in the chest area.
Firefighters came to his aid but could not keep him alive.

Later that night, at around 2:30 a.m., the alleged perpetrator returned to the crime scene and took himself prisoner.
The teenager was taken into custody in the wake.
The stabbing weapon he allegedly used to stab the victim has not been found.
According to his first statements, he knew the man he fatally injured.
This death, presented as accidental, would be the consequence of a "friendly" fight which would therefore have turned out badly.
The departmental service of the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis was seized of the investigation.
