BRUSSELS - The new interactive map Monithon Project Finder is online to locate the projects financed in Italy by the EU in the environmental field and beyond in the last seven years:
in all 7,629 initiatives for a total investment of approximately 8.9 billion euros
.
Users can search by city and neighborhood, or by theme by selecting environment, energy, culture or tourism.
They will thus be able to find out more about all the projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) in the 2014-2020 programming cycle, but also
monitor their progress for themselves
.
Some examples are those for the energy efficiency of public buildings and businesses, sustainable mobility and the protection of biodiversity.
The platform was created by
the Monithon civic monitoring network
with data from
OpenCoesione
and is co-financed by
the European Commission's
Directorate General for Regional and Urban
Policy.
