Exceptionally this weekend, two centers in Yvelines will open a line reserved for people over 55 years of age exercising a professional

If the vaccination of priority audiences is already underway since last weekend in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, it must begin this Saturday in Poissy.

These two centers were selected by the Regional Health Agency (ARS) in Yvelines to administer vaccines without an appointment to people over 55 years of age in priority professions.

Knowing that these include from this Saturday cashiers, bakers, butchers, taxis, VTC, delivery drivers, drivers of heavy goods vehicles and buses, SNCF controllers, maintenance agents, security agents or even professionals of funeral directors.

Priority queues will be set up.

Since April 17, the intercommunal vaccination center of Saint-Germain (CVI), now installed at the Philippe-Pivert gymnasium in order to accelerate the rate to 4,000 vaccinations per week, has been open without appointment to teachers, professionals of the early childhood and members of the police over 55 years old.

Be careful not to forget your proof

"The large waiting room was split in two to distribute more easily, on the eight vaccination posts, the priority groups benefiting from AstraZeneca and the others who receive a dose of the Pfizer vaccine", indicates the town hall of Saint- Germain-en-Laye, which specifies the "need to present proof" such as a pay slip, a professional card or a declaration on honor.

About twenty volunteer residents as well as ten city agents work on the daily organization of the CVI. "We received a thousand doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine last weekend, but we have not yet sold all", also confides the municipality. The intercommunal center, which has just exceeded the threshold of 22,000 vaccinations, will also open exceptionally this Sunday, from 9 am to 6 pm, to be able to accommodate new priority audiences.

In Poissy, around 400 doses should be able to be delivered to these new priority audiences this weekend.

Note that next week, the city's “Chez Mauricette” center, the first to have opened in the Yvelines, should be able to vaccinate more than 3,300 people between Monday and Friday.

To date, nearly 22,000 people have been vaccinated there since it opened on January 7.

Open in Poissy this Saturday and Sunday, from 9 am to 6 pm “Chez Mauricette”, at the artistic dissemination center (53, avenue Blanche-de-Castille).

Opening in Saint-Germain-en-Laye this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (for new priority audiences over 55) at the Philippe gymnasium. Pivert (opposite 101, rue Saint-Léger).
