Is terrorism returning to the French capital?
A policewoman was stabbed to death this evening (Friday) at a central bus station in Rambeau, a suburb of the capital Paris by a French citizen of Tunisian descent.
Cops who were at the station shot and stabbed him.
At this stage, the incident is not known to the case, and a suspicion was investigated that it was a terrorist incident, but the investigation did not at this stage pass to the responsibility of the special prosecutor for terrorist investigations.
After the incident, French Interior Minister Gerald Dermanin and French Prime Minister Jean Castes arrived.
This will not be the first time that police officers have been stabbed to death in terrorist attacks, if it is indeed a terrorist incident, when two years ago four people were stabbed to death at a police station in Paris.
