What a surprising picture these hundreds of planes parked on the tarmac at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées airport! Parked in rows, their engines covered by red tarpaulins and the portholes carefully protected by adhesive materials, these Boeing 747s and 737s, these Airbus A380s and 320s, seem to be peacefully enjoying the view of the Pyrenees. Pending better days when they will fly away again, or, for a few, their final dismantling, depending on what their owners decide. For most of these flying machines, as we said at the beginning of aviation, it is a rest of a few months at the most: as soon as air traffic resumes, 75% of the planes coming to Tarbes will leave in flight. after their rigorous inspection by Tarmac Aerosav technicians.
