Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the continued violations of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians and their holy sites, especially in the occupied city of Jerusalem, are a war crime, calling on the international community to take urgent action to stop these attacks.
In a statement reported by Wafa news agency today, the Foreign Ministry said that the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers against the Palestinians in a number of neighborhoods in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which have escalated since the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, are organized terrorism aimed at judaizing the city, obliterating its landmarks, controlling its sanctities, foremost of which is the Al-Aqsa Mosque and abolishing the Palestinian presence in it.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine and an integral part of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967, stressing that the steadfastness of the Palestinians and their adherence to defending their land and sanctities has thwarted the colonial occupation plans.
The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to stop the occupation crimes against the Palestinians and hold those responsible accountable.
