He is said to have grabbed a colleague's breasts and in the crotch, once he is said to have pushed for oral sex.

Now the Thuringian state chief of the police union, Kai Christ, has resigned from his position.

He confirmed this to the MDR on request.

The resignation comes after SPIEGEL reveals allegations of sexual harassment by Christ.

The trade unionist is said to have harassed a - now former - GdP employee several times.

The public prosecutor's office in Erfurt is investigating the allegation of »sexual assault (exploitation of the physical or psychological state)«, which results from letters that are available to SPIEGEL.

According to this, Christ is said to have harassed the person concerned in her office in the office.

Once, when he came to work in the morning, he is said to have taken his penis out of his pants and said to her: "Say good morning to him."

"This is how you say thank you to the GdP"

When she thanked the gummy bears another time, the scene was repeated: "This is how they say thank you at the GdP," Christ is said to have said with his penis bared.

During further training, he is said to have pushed her to have oral sex, even though she was drunk.

The GdP state chairman is twice as explosive: Christ is said to have found the woman who is now accusing him of a 450 euro job and then half a job at the GdP.

The two had previously had sexual contact.

Christ denies the allegations and has requested access to the files through his lawyer.

Christ had made the declaration of resignation at a meeting of the executive state executive that had met since Friday morning.

Several district group leaders had already called for his resignation on Thursday.

The woman concerned had reported the Thuringian GdP boss a year ago.
