The United States Embassy in Israel today (Friday) expressed concern in the face of the violence in Jerusalem in recent days.

"We hope that various parties will act responsibly, and call for an end to incitement, and to restore order, and to preserve the dignity and security of all the residents of Jerusalem."

Meanwhile, about 16 victims of the riots in Jerusalem were evacuated to the emergency rooms of the hospitals at Hadassah Mount Scopus and Hadassah Ein Kerem during the night.

One wounded man was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem and most of the injured were to Mount Scopus.

All of the wounded are in a light condition and are suffering from various injuries, including a stone-throwing injury and the driver of a vehicle that was attacked.

Most were released during the last few hours.

After the morning prayer, hundreds of Muslim worshipers came out of the Temple Mount shouting incitement against Israel and shouting: "In spirit and blood we will redeem al-Aqsa."

Ramadan Friday prayers are scheduled for noon.

It is estimated that tens of thousands of Muslims will participate in the mass prayer with the tense atmosphere and vigilance in Jerusalem in the background after the clashes that have taken place in recent days in the capital between Arabs and Jews.

Meanwhile, Hamas terrorist organizations and Islamic Jihad called for a day of rage after the sixth prayer on the occasion of the month of Ramadan on the Temple Mount.

Maor Tzemach, chairman of Lech Yerushalayim, noted that "night events in Jerusalem must light a red light. This violence will end in terrorist attacks. "We must stop the instigators in Jerusalem today, close the Facebook and Twitter pages calling for violence and go to war against all manifestations of incitement in the public sphere in Jerusalem."
