At about 9 pm yesterday (23rd), the staff of an elderly home at No. 11 Tsing Chui Path, Tuen Mun found an eighty-year-old man in the home in a coma. A paramedic arrived and sent the old man to the hospital, but was later certified dead.
After investigation by the police, it was discovered that the victim had been assaulted, and a 70-year-old man was arrested afterwards. He was suspected to be related to the case and the case was treated as a murder case.
The staff of the home for the elderly said that the police had arrived at the scene to investigate and only took the team and left at 4 am.
When the reporter met at the venue, there were blood stains on the ground floor and between the stairs of the nursing home.
