Today, the National Health Commission in China announced the registration of 9 new infections with the Coronavirus on the mainland from abroad during the past twenty-four hours.
"Among the new infections, three were reported in Shanghai, and one each in Jiangsu, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan and Shaanxi," Xinhua news agency quoted the commission as saying.
And there were no new deaths on the mainland linked to Covid 19 yesterday.
The total confirmed cases of Covid 19 on the mainland reached 90,575 as of yesterday, including 305 patients who are still receiving treatment, four of whom are in serious condition, and 85,634 patients have left hospitals upon recovery, while 4,636 people have died.
