The well-known actor and voice actor Thomas Fritsch has died.
He was 77 years old.

Fritsch was known from his roles in the ZDF series “Der Bergdoktor” and from the popular Bavarian crime series “The Rosenheim Cops”. But not only in series he took on different roles. He was also an actor for Rosamunde Pilcher films and in 2018 was still working on the film "Jim Knopf and Lukas, the locomotive driver" for the book of the same name by the German writer Michael Ende.
Fritsch also made a name for himself as a voice actor.
He voiced well-known and Oscar-winning US actors such as Russell Crowe and William Hurt.
He dubbed films like “Gladiator”, “The Incredible Hulk” or the animated film “The Lion King”.

, Fritsch was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1990.
