In some schools zero positive self-tests: "It's very straightforward for us"

For almost two weeks, the high school and fourth graders have had to test themselves in order to be able to take part in face-to-face classes.

So far it's been going pretty well, as some school principals report.

Positive cases did not come to light either.

District - “It's very straightforward for us,” said Stefan Schmid, Rector of the

elementary school in Hohenpeißenberg

.

All fourth grade students test themselves on site, only one child can be tested and brings a corresponding confirmation.

Even with the 15 children who are currently in emergency care, the self-tests work fine, says Schmid.

Invalid tests have not yet occurred in any of the children.

So the situation at the elementary school in Hohenpeißenberg is relaxed.

"But that is probably also due to the fact that we haven't had a positive case so far," speculated the headmaster.

Realschule Weilheim: All high school students were able to take part in the first part of the exams

The

state secondary school in Weilheim cannot

show

any students who tested positive either

.

"It runs absolutely problem-free with us and we have no refusals," explained headmistress Sabine Kreutle.

On Thursday, all tenth graders were able to take part in the first part of the final exams: the speaking test in English.

"So we don't need a catch-up date, that's very good," said the Weilheim headmistress.

The CO2 traffic lights that the secondary school received from the district administration office make it easy to see when the room has to be ventilated again.

But there is also regular airing in between, says Kreutle.

Due to the large classrooms, the distances between the students can also be maintained without any problems.

Self-tests have become well established in Steingaden

Jürgen Jahrsdörfer's impression is that the self-tests have become well established.

Both at the

elementary school

and the

middle school in Steingaden

, for which he is responsible as principal.

With the exception of two students from the fourth grade and the final year, all are in classroom instruction.

"We are satisfied, as long as you can be in this situation," said Jahrsdörfer.

High school students hope that the situation will remain stable until the final exams

Even at the

high school in Penzberg

, the self-tests of the Q11 and Q12 students run smoothly, as headmaster Matthias Langensteiner said. But that's probably because only the "big ones" are in classroom lessons. Since the introduction of compulsory tests almost two weeks ago, the high school has not had a positive self-test either. "We hope that we will continue to make it through to the Abitur exams on May 12th," said Langensteiner.
