Twelve people were indicted, including six placed in pre-trial detention, after the dismantling of drug trafficking in Verdun (Meuse), the prosecutor's office said on Friday 23 April.

During two phases of arrests and searches, a first on April 19 on two deal points in Verdun and a second on April 20 in Metz (Moselle), 737 g of heroin and 48 g of cocaine were seized as well as eight weapons including a shotgun, more than 15,000 euros in cash, six vehicles and 24 mobile phones, detailed in a press release Sofian Saboulard, acting public prosecutor of Verdun. In total, the legal operation will have mobilized more than 200 soldiers,

The investigation made it possible to establish "
the existence of a structured organization whose heads of network operated from the town of Metz and supplied cannabis, cocaine and heroin to the two Verdun deal points held by armed individuals
