Haar

- The east of the district has a new chief of police: Stefan Roß has taken over Police Inspection 27 in Haar as head of the department.

The First Police Chief Superintendent succeeded Criminal Superintendent Nina Samtleben, who had headed the department for the past six months as part of a police support program for prospective managers.

The 55-year-old, born in Munich, began his professional career on September 1, 1986 with training as a middle-class police force with the Bavarian riot police in Königsbrunn. After completing his training, Roß worked for several years on patrol at the police station in Munich-Moosach, as a manager of the police field service manager in the Munich-West section and as a clerk in the presidential office. From 2002 to 2004 Roß studied at the civil service college in Fürstenfeldbruck and qualified for the upper class. After completing his studies, he worked for the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior until the end.

As the head of the PI Haar department, he says that a friendly and trusting relationship with his employees as well as friendly and open interaction with the citizens in the inspection area are particularly important to him.
