Today, the Armenian communities in Aleppo commemorated the 106th anniversary of the genocide committed against the Armenians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire by holding a candlelit parade with the participation of the heads of the Armenian Orthodox, Protestant and Catholic sects and a crowd of people led by the bronze band of the Syrian Armenian Cultural Youth Club.

The march started from the Syrian High School for Armenian Orthodox in the Al-Midan neighborhood and headed to the Armenian Orthodox cemetery, where the attendees participated in placing a wreath of flowers at the memorial to the martyrs of the Armenian massacres and lighting the torch on the monument.

And Archbishop Masis Zuboyan, Archbishop of the Armenian Orthodox in Aleppo, stated that the commemoration of the massacre committed by the Ottomans on its 106th anniversary is an evocation of the sacrifices of the peaceful Armenian people whose blood was shed at the hands of the Ottoman criminal.

Rev.
