The Public Corporation for Drinking Water in Al-Hasakah Governorate has restarted the Alouk water station after its work stopped for more than 16 days as a result of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries' encroachments on the electrical lines feeding the station.
The director of the Water Corporation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ikla, stated in a statement to the SANA reporter that after the maintenance workshops in the establishment and the electricity company removed the violations of the electrical lines today, the Alouk station was restarted.
The engineer pointed out that the process of filling the station's tanks with water has started, and after completion, the process of filling the reservoirs of the plant will begin, from which it will start pumping water to the subscribers in the city of Hasaka tomorrow, according to the rationing program in effect.
It is noteworthy that Allouk water station is the only source of drinking water for nearly a million people in the city of Hasaka and its surroundings and the western countryside of the governorate.
