A first title for Asvel in 2020-21.
Maybe not the last… Led by Thomas Heurtel (18 pts), the players of TJ Parker dominated Dijon (77-61) this Saturday, at the AccorHotels Arena, in the final of the Coupe de France.
It is Moustafa Fall who was elected MVP of this meeting, with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 6 blocks.
This is the tenth Coupe de France for the Lyon-Villeurbanne club, the second in a row after 2019, the trophy not having been awarded last year.
The Asvel will now aim for the double with the title in Jeep Elite.
Remember that Lattes-Montpellier won the Women's French Cup earlier, also at Bercy, by defeating Charleville-Mézières in the final.
