Al-Kiswah team in Rif Dimashq qualified for the First Division Football League after winning the decisive match against Jassem Team in Daraa, 4 to 3, which was held at Al-Faiha Stadium in Damascus.
Al-Kiswah booked the qualifying card after resolving the tiebreaker, which was marked by the club, as the meeting needed to be extended after a tie with its original two legs, to be settled by the dress in the last minutes of the second extra half.
Al-Kiswah managed to reach the decisive match after tying in the final gathering of the second group with Jasim in the first match 3-3, and defeating Kenitra 3-1 and Hatla 4-2, and in the decider, he defeated Jassem 4-3.
Club president Hussein Salim Al-Bayadh explained to the SANA sports bulletin that ascending to the first division is the first step and our ambition to continue to shine in order to reach the Premier League, referring to the difficulties that the team has faced since its relegation to the second division last season by a “unfair” federal decision to join a player with us who had a previous disclosure with us. One of the clubs, which led to the departure of most of the players to other clubs, leaving only two administrators in the club, Rashid Al-Mazloum and Ismail Al Hallaq.
The director of the club’s media office, Muhammad Bashar Al-Asfar, said: “We passed the first gathering in which 8 teams from the countryside of Damascus participated, and we got the first place to reach the second gathering and achieved in it the prescription center that qualified us for the final gathering and booked the qualification card for the first, pointing out the need for all club fans to stand in The next stage of athletes and economic events to continue their march towards the First Division and then the Premier League.
