United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres today called for strong multilateral action to safely exit the COVID-19 pandemic, address the climate crisis, and build stronger and safer societies.
Guterres said in a video message he sent on the occasion of the anniversary of the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace: “There is a clear and urgent need to find concrete multilateral solutions based on joint action across borders in order to combat the Covid 19 pandemic for the benefit of all humanity, starting with the equitable distribution of vaccines as a public good.
