This is "Io sì", the original song from the movie "The Life Ahead", starring a Hollywood darling, Sophia Loren.
Pausini, along with Diane Warren - an old acquaintance of the Oscars - compete in the category of "best original song."
For Pausini, being nominated for an Oscar goes beyond her dreams.
