Protesters blocking Wadi Ara junction, today

Thousands of protesters are currently blocking the Wadi Ara junction on Road 65 in the north of the country in both directions, near Umm al-Fahm.
The demonstration apparently took place in continuation of the riots that took place during the last week in Jerusalem.
The protesters who arrived at the scene chanted slogans condemning the State of Israel and some waved Palestinian Authority flags and signs with slogans expressing sympathy with residents of the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem.
Large police forces who arrived at the scene evacuated the protesters from the road.
