Seine-Saint-Denis: new photos of police officers plastered in a building hall

2021-04-25T10:19:46.869Z

Points of similarity were found between the images displayed in Villetaneuse and those of Epinay-sur-Seine, ten days earlier.

This is the second case of this type in ten days in Seine-Saint-Denis.

After Épinay-sur-Seine, it was in Villetaneuse that photos of police officers were discovered in a common part of a building, on the night of Wednesday to last Thursday.

According to the Actu 17 website, it was officials from the Territorial Contact Brigade (BTC) of Villetaneuse who discovered, during a security operation, personal photos of their colleagues in a building on rue Roger-Salengro, in the around midnight.

"Of the nine photos, at least one is the same as one of the photos found in Épinay," said the Bobigny prosecutor's office on Saturday, which announced the opening of an investigation for "invasion of privacy" and "act intimidation ”.

The images discovered in the two neighboring towns would also have “the same origin” according to the first elements of the investigation entrusted, as for Épinay, to the territorial security.

Following a police check?

In Épinay-sur-Seine, more than twenty images printed on A4 sheets, apparently from a Facebook account, had been plastered in the entrance hall of n ° 48 of the residence des Presles and discoveries on Monday 12 April.

They showed two police officers from the night squad of the Épinay-sur-Seine police station, as well as the wife of one of them, also a police officer.

Their names and surnames were marked on the photos.

An investigation for "acts of intimidation" was also opened here by the Bobigny prosecutor's office.

The police officers concerned, as well as the Paris police headquarters, had announced to file a complaint, while the Minister of the Interior Gerald Darmanin had reacted to the National Assembly.

Full support for our police officers whose faces and names have been displayed in Épinay-sur-Seine as a form of intimidation.

I will never accept that we throw in food and threaten those who protect us.

"What is being said in the neighborhood is that one of the young people from the point of deal was violently controlled and that with his friends, that was their way of responding to the police," assumed a resident of Épinay , last week.

These photo cases should in any case not fail to participate in the discomfort of the officials of the National Police in mourning after the tragedy of Rambouillet.
