Naftali Bennett finds himself in a place where many good people have found themselves before him.

When you hear the reports in the studios and the big headlines in most of the mainstream media, the alternative government, the one headed by Bennett and Netanyahu going home, is already up and running.

A few more small closures, waiting patiently for Netanyahu to lose the mandate in a week and a half - and it happens.

The hero of the day is of course Bennett, as was Moshe Kahlon at the time or Gideon Saar in fact to this day.

And of course Benny Begin, Avigdor Lieberman and all those right-wingers who saw the media light when they started attacking Netanyahu or embroidering moves against him.

Bennett is now carried on his hands like never before.

Not only in the media, but, in perfect correlation as always, senior politicians on the left are also longing for Bennett's arrival in the Prime Minister's Office, as Jews believe longing for the coming of the Messiah.

They never voted for him.

It did not even occur to them to do so.

Their opinions are far from his own as far east as west, and yet, have already found their savior.

And the onslaught of consciousness is in full swing.

Bennett's dilemma is real.

Unlike all the right-wingers who have done this before, the right-wing chairman has a chance to enter the prime minister's office in two weeks, their privilege was not. The prime minister's job has always been Bennett's dream and the pinnacle of his ambitions. All he has to do is violate his principles. To the political system, and to dedicate themselves to the warm and inclusive embrace that surrounds him from all sides, his former rivals and future allies. To the demarcation boundaries of the sectoral press and fringe channels, and will allow him to gallop unhindered to the government as they please.

After conquering the fortified target for them, it will be a different story.

The need for a right-wing chairman will be dramatically reduced, and in any crisis - and thank God there will be many - he will find himself basing himself in front of the arsenal of the left-wing majority in his government, with the help of those cuddly and supportive journalists who will suddenly be less so.
