From the coming winter semester, various bachelor's and master's degrees can be studied at the new study facility.

Around 1200 viewers watched a live broadcast, such as Prime Minister Markus Söder * (CSU) together with TH President Prof. Dr.
Niels Oberbeck, Head of the Clinic Prof. Dr.
Achim Jockwig and Nuremberg's Mayor Marcus König (CSU *) officially founded the Nuremberg “School of Health”, according to a statement from the TH.
A sign with the name of the midwife Justine Siegemund (1636-1705) was symbolically unveiled at the event.
This also gives an outlook on the initial courses offered by the new higher education institution.
"The corona pandemic has taught us how important a functioning health system is for our society," says Markus Söder.

The “Midwifery Science” and “Digital Health Management” bachelor's degree programs will start in the coming winter semester.
"With the new courses in 'Digital Health Management' and 'Midwifery Science' we are creating a pioneering offer that combines high-tech and high-care," says Söder.
In the future, bachelor's and master's degrees as well as further training are to be offered in which theory and practical training are closely linked.
The basis for this is always the ethical evaluation of the interaction between humans and technology, with possible value conflicts that can arise, for example, when using artificial intelligence, according to the communication.
"The establishment of the School of Health strengthens Nuremberg as a scientific location and continues to shape the Nuremberg region as a health region," says a delighted Marcus König about the establishment.
In order to set up the new courses, the TH Nürnberg will receive additional positions and funds as part of the Hightech Agenda Bavaria.
The Free State is making further funds available especially for the Bachelor's degree in “Midwifery Science”.
