A 19-year-old Arab from Lod was arrested tonight (Sunday) on suspicion of assaulting a 22-year-old Jew who was distributing religious booklets in the area of the Ice Junction in Ramla.
The wounded man was evacuated by MDA to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in a light condition, with bruises on his upper body. The police said that the circumstances of the case were being investigated.
Meanwhile, police arrested a suspect in the attack on three cleaners on Ben Sira Street in downtown Jerusalem.
The police located a knife in his possession.
He was taken in for questioning.
Police said additional searches are being conducted for others involved.
