An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale today hit the eastern Algerian province of Bejaia.
Local media quoted the Algerian National Center for Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics as saying: The epicenter of the earthquake is 29 km northeast of the Ras Karbon area in the wilaya of Bejaia.
On the 24th of last February, an earthquake measuring 4.7 degrees on the Richter scale hit regions in northern Algeria.
