Dozens of Palestinians were suffocated last night as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on them in occupied Jerusalem.
The Wafa news agency reported that the occupation forces closed a number of streets in the town of Issawiya in Jerusalem and around the cemetery of the town of Al-Eizariya, southeast of the city, during their suppression of a demonstration denouncing the Israeli attacks on Jerusalem, and fired poison gas canisters at the Palestinians, resulting in dozens of them suffocating.
Dozens of Palestinians were injured yesterday evening as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' assault on them in different parts of the West Bank.
