The ministry added: The Syrian government renews its strong condemnation of these repeated brutal Turkish practices, which have exceeded 23 times since October 2019, which violate the provisions of international humanitarian law, especially with regard to the inadmissibility of using water as a weapon of war, which is the intention of the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries from terrorist groups. In addition to its violation of the provisions of international human rights law, which guarantees the right of every person to access safe drinking water, as it is one of the basic rights that must be respected by all countries and as a fundamental right that guarantees the right to life and the right to enjoy health, especially in the context of the challenge of addressing the Covid-19 pandemic.
