The Kelly Family mourns Barby Kelly. The ex-member of the famous family band died on April 15 at the age of only 45. In terms of health, Barbara Ann had been struggling with a mental illness since 1999. In 2013, her brother Jimmy Kelly spoke publicly about it, stating that his sister could not live and care for herself because of her illness. That's why she had withdrawn from the public eye.

Maite Kelly said a touching goodbye and Barby's younger brother Angelo also found emotional farewell lines.
"Dear Barby, thank you for the loveliest sister and for taking care of me, especially when I was little," he writes under a photo from his childhood, on which he leaned against his older sister.
