Special envoy to the Andravida base
The roars follow one another in a deafening roll. On the Greek air base of Andravida, the patrols take off one after the other. The first plane takes off like an arrow, the following in a straight line to gain speed and catch up with its leader, the second pair follows the same figure. To meet in the sky, the trajectories are timed and millimetered. Beyond the clouds and the gaze, they will find Greek, American, Spanish, Emirati or Israeli aircraft, mainly F16s and F18s.
Canceled last year because of the Covid, the Iniochos air exercise brought together from April 12 to 22 some 90 aircraft from seven nations, outside a NATO or EU framework, with rare cooperation between air forces
