Iranian writer, political analyst and expert in media and political affairs, Dr. Hossein Ryouran, affirmed that opening the door to candidacy for the presidential elections in Syria and announcing and setting the date for them is a categorical embodiment of Syrian sovereignty, the strength of its institutions and the will of its people.
The head of the political committee at the Association for the Defense of the Palestinian People, Dr.Rauran, said in a statement to SANA's correspondent in Tehran that Syria will win the resistance of its people, who will say their word in the elections and in determining their future away from foreign interference and pressures, and this is a great thing and worthy of attention.
The Iranian expert stressed that just as the Syrian people have won over the past years in the war on terror, this presidential election will be victorious, and this presidential election will be successfully achieved, and the bets of the West and their bad perpetrators who seek to influence the political process and the constitution in Syria will serve their agenda.
Ryoran denounced the practices of the US occupation on Syrian lands and its seizure of oil resources and the food basket there in order to weaken the Syrian state and tighten pressure on the Syrian people, who continue to reject these practices.
