Liège-Bastogne-Liège: Pogacar wins ahead of Alaphilippe

The Slovenian crossed the finish line in front of the Frenchman at the end of the Belgian “Doyenne”.


The winner of the Tour de France, the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE), won Sunday the 107th edition of Liège-Bastogne-Liège, the oldest of the cycling classics, ahead of the world champion, the French Julian Alaphilippe.

Pogacar sprinted a group of five runners.

Another Frenchman, David Gaudu, took third place after 259 kilometers.
