Mexico recorded 3,308 infections and 349 new deaths from the emerging coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
In its latest data, the Mexican Ministry of Health stated that the total number of injuries in the country reached two million and 326738 cases, and deaths reached 214853 cases.
The government believes that the real number of injuries is much higher than the announced figures, while separate data published recently indicate that the actual number of deaths is at least 60 percent higher than the confirmed figures.
In China, the National Health Commission announced the registration of 13 new cases of the virus yesterday, up from nine the previous day, noting that all new cases were imported from abroad.
The total number of HIV infections in China is currently 90,588, while the number of deaths remains constant at 4,636 cases.
