Nevada fugitive caught in Mexico 27 ​​years after escaping

He escaped from a Nevada prison 27 years ago and this week was extradited back to that state after being captured by authorities in Nayarit, Mexico, according to the US Marshals Service.

The federal agency announced Thursday that Samuel Gallardo, who was found guilty of driving under the influence (DUI) on the wrong side of a highway in 1992 and sentenced to 40 years in prison, for causing the death of the driver of the vehicle that struck. head on.
