Liu Mingwei, Chairman of the Ocean Park Board of Directors, pointed out when attending a park event today (25th) that the "Rebirth Plan" involves amendments to regulations and negotiations with government departments, and Huang Zhizu will be responsible for promoting the plan.
Regarding the outsourcing of the park facilities plan, Liu revealed that he would collect the "Expression of Bidding Interest" in the next 6 to 9 months before the bidding work would be carried out.
Liu Mingwei said that Huang Zhizu’s secondment was coordinated by the park and the government. Since the rebirth of the park requires interaction with the government, which involves amendments to the regulations, Huang Zhizu will take the lead in handling the plan. He expects his experience to help implement the plan.
Liu revealed that many partners are currently interested in the park. In the next 6 to 9 months, they will begin to collect expressions of interest in bidding, and then bidding will be held. Conservation is one of the considerations.
