Qabalan: Only the resistance is able to liberate the land and holy sites

The head of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council in Lebanon, Sheikh Abd al-Amir Qabalan, affirmed that the resistance and the uprising constitute the most appropriate response to the fierce Israeli attack against the defenseless Palestinian people and represent the best way to liberate the land and defeat the occupation.

In today's statement, Kabalan praised the Palestinian popular uprising against the Zionist occupation, saying that this gift expresses the conscience of the Palestinian people who resist the occupation and adhere to their legitimate rights and reject all forms of normalization with it.

Qabalan stressed that Jerusalem today, as well as the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and all of Palestine are targeted by an Israeli attack that seeks to Judaize it, displace its people and alter its Arab and Islamic identity, appealing to the forces and factions of the Palestinian people to adhere to their national unity and solidarity in support of their cause, of which Jerusalem is its sacred symbol.
