Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed its request to the UN Security Council to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards the Palestinian people and to take practical measures and measures to stop the occupation crimes against it.
The Foreign Ministry stressed in a statement today quoted by Wafa Agency that the Security Council’s reluctance to exercise its duties as stipulated in the United Nations Charter and the failure to implement its decisions on the Palestinian issue transforms it into a global forum that stands at the limits of the diagnosis of the situation that does not abide by its responsibilities as the highest international body that is responsible for preserving On international peace and security, which means that Israel is not obligated to stop its violations and end its settlement and occupation.
The Foreign Ministry condemned the aggression of the occupation and its settlers against the Palestinians throughout the Palestinian land, especially in the city of Jerusalem, with its old town and its neighborhoods and Islamic and Christian holy sites, noting that these attacks come within the framework of implementing the occupation's plans to annex and Judaize Jerusalem and empty it of the Palestinian presence.
