The Ismaning community needs a new primary school.

The need is so great that the project slips to the top of the priority list.

Ismaning

- The prerequisites are in place and now the Ismaning community does not want to waste any more time building the third elementary school.

According to a proposal from the SPD and free voters, this now enjoys top priority.

The school supervisory approval for the construction of another elementary school has been in place since 2019. "This application for examination is already advanced," said Third Mayor Luise Stangl (SPD) when explaining the application. Your wish: 2021 will be the planning year, then in 2022 the excavators will move to a communal property on Aschheimer Straße. "This location can no longer be questioned," explained the SPD councilor. She also clearly addressed the responsibility towards the elementary school on Kirchplatz. "We have been promising the teachers and parents a solution for years," emphasized Stangl and now demanded action.

Mayor Alexander Greulich was also able to feed the urgency with numbers.

The primary school on Kirchplatz is planned to be three-class, so a maximum of twelve classes.

However, 17 classes are currently being taught and this will increase to 19 classes in the coming years.

"That is why the third elementary school is also moving forward in terms of priorities," emphasized Greulich.

The construction project is still before the expansion of the grammar school.

Administration should work out plans this year

In order to be able to accommodate the students on the church square, containers have been in the school yard for some time.

Luise Stangl warned that “we cannot think of the future of the school without the renovation of the school gym”.

The third elementary school could also provide relief with an additional gym.

Stangl went one step further and expressed the wish that the new school should be built sustainably with wood.

The municipal council has already inspected the relevant buildings.

There was also clear approval from the third large parliamentary group in the local council.

"When necessary, there are no more questions," said the CSU parliamentary group spokesman Peter Aurnhammer.

The administration would have pushed the construction of the educational facility with high priority.

That is why it did not need the application, which was ultimately unanimously approved.

Now the ball is in the hands of the building authorities to work out concepts and schedules for the school building on Aschheimer Straße this year.
