Czech President Milos Zeman warned against hasty judgments about an explosion in an ammunition depot near the town of Vrpetice in 2014, which Prague claimed the Russian intelligence community was behind.
Zeman said in a televised address today, "The case of the explosion that rocked the ammunition depot in Vrpetice is not without ambiguity, and the results of the investigation, which is still ongoing, must be awaited before any final judgments are issued."
Zeman did not rule out that this case was the result of the intrigues of the intelligence services that have nothing to do with Russia.
And the Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis announced that his country's authorities suspect the involvement of Russian intelligence in the explosion and expelled 18 Russian diplomats against the background of these accusations, which were rejected by Russia and confirmed that they are false allegations and the absurdity of expelling 20 employees of the Czech embassy in Moscow.
