Ho Tung School in Qianjin Village has always attached great importance to environmental protection education and promoted environmental protection and recycling messages to teachers and students through different channels.
The teachers and students of the whole school participate in environmental protection activities, think of ways to make good use of waste in the eyes of others, and use their hands to regenerate domestic waste.

Walking into the campus, walking through the corridors, wandering around the flower garden, and walking around the playground, you will find many surprising "waste installations" in the school.
Used bottles, broken water pipes and worn-out basketballs turned into practical vases or flower pots.
The abandoned student desks became a support for the flower pots.
The distilled water bottle even turned into a "drip" to nourish the flowers and plants all day long.
"I was born to be useful", and they are not discarded because they have been used up.
Teachers, students, and workers have discovered their potential value. They have given new life and upgraded their lives. Once again, the campus has become green and beautiful.
The school is adjacent to the Kwu Tung North and Fanling North New Development Areas. This time, in cooperation with the Civil Engineering and Development Department, the "Tree Upgrade, Environmental Clock is Made by You" event is held.
The purpose of the activity is to make good use of the garden waste collected in the new development area project to make decorations, encourage upgrading and recycling, and practice "waste reduction and reuse".
At the beginning of the event, a tree expert from an engineering consulting company introduced common trees in Hong Kong, and explained the types of species, appearance characteristics, and the imprints of the tree rings "years" to increase everyone's understanding of trees.
Then, various groups, including the Civil Engineering and Development Department, engineering consulting companies, contractors and other staff, as well as all teachers and staff of the school, created the environmental clock together.
Each group exerts creativity and shows their minds in terms of clock face composition, color matching, artistic effects, etc.
Through this event, the school and the Civil Engineering and Development Department have joined hands to promote the concept of "waste recycling, life upgrading", giving trees a second life.
As for the school, it also allows students to understand that not only are they involved in the production of environmentally-friendly items to decorate flowers, but they also need to be responsible for the management, maintenance and care of flowers, plants and potted plants. This is the sustainable development of environmental education, allowing humans to live in harmony with nature.

When the flowers die, there is a time to bloom again; the grass is withered, and there is a time to green again; after the dead wood in a bottle and jar is used, there is a time to regenerate.
