  • Who will be the next prime minister?

What do we care how a prime minister behaves towards his colleagues and what is the measure of unity he leads, the right excuses among itself and out when the left says that Bibi divides.

After all, there are priorities;

A prime minister needs to know how to protect us from the Iranians, keep our sons on the battlefield, grow the economy and defeat epidemics.

Every line from this list is a sparkling diamond in every citizen's civil fantasy in the world, but the right also knew deep down and cared like a mother that someday this matter of reasonable relationship and interpersonal credibility would pop up and hurt, like a whipped cream cake flying in the face of the happy and ruined groom.

And here comes the moment, Netanyahu falls into the trap of the "national polarizer" - a sticker prepared for him by the left and tried to stick to him throughout his tenure, but also a trap that he dug himself and justifies this definition.

Like a child who does not learn from mistakes despite remedial teaching and occupational therapy, he loses patience and self-control in the wrong places.

It's just that Netanyahu is no longer a child, he is the father of this venture.

And as if he himself did not dismantle the right-wing bloc a year ago - a shattering that the right is paying the price for in these fourth elections - the prime minister chooses to vent his aggression on the only party leader who was careful not to utter the Holy Trinity: just not Bibi.

Huge ads call for a left-wing Bennett, warning him in the colors of a PLO flag from an extreme left-wing government.

What hypocrisy.

Bennett was the only one to play a decent game, not mentioning the explicit name: "Just not Bibi" and depriving himself of temporary fame while Saar got his on one side and Smutrich rode for Likud seats on the other.

This time, the "head boy" seems to be saying outside that "they're just getting on his nerves," and the father is brave and says "think well what you did that you deserve," instead of stopping and practicing what he learned in anger management workshops.

Bennett is not considerate, he works to form a government and promote the country. This is the goal for which politicians are born, and this is also what Netanyahu should have done if he had not made such an effort to burn bridges. Bennett may pay for it in his head in the next election. But this is how a public figure is expected to behave - aside from silly calculations that recommend sitting on the fence or sweeping the people into another adventure of local hatred, and killing himself in the tent of a budget.

The Likud, which trained its cooperation with Abbas after forming a host of left-wing governments, put Bennett's head on the target board and incites against him on every possible platform. In practice, the emerging government of a right-wing leader does not seem more left-wing than governments that Netanyahu has formed in the past, only fresher and hungrier for success. Is Lieberman less good than Katz in the Ministry of Finance? Michaeli less than me in welfare? Nitzan Horowitz as Minister of Education will surely do a better job than Galant, blue and white people have proven themselves professionally in the offices they received and we know Saar people from the Likud. If the far left resists and does not politicize mutual sacrifice, there can be an active and effective unity government here. Then, the flowers to Bennett.
