At the weekend, the English Garden developed into a party hotspot: umpteen young people partied extensively, and in the evening it got violent.
Munich - they celebrate, they jump, drink alcohol, bawl and sing.
Two videos from Sunday (when they were recorded is not clear) on Twitter and Instagram show a whole crowd of teenagers and young adults on a meadow in the English Garden in Munich.
You are full of joie de vivre.
But in these times they are doing something illegal.
Without adhering to the currently valid Corona rules such as distance, wearing a mask, keeping contact restrictions, tens of young people met in the English Garden at the weekend.
The corona virus and the pandemic it triggered apparently took a back seat, as the Instagram video below shows.

English garden in Munich: young people celebrate - mass brawl
It is currently unclear whether and when the police will intervene.
What is certain, however, is that a mass brawl broke out in the same place near the Monopteros on Saturday evening.
Witnesses report that 50 young adults are believed to have been involved, the police estimate the number to be lower.
A physical argument broke out there a few days ago.
In the end, the authorities' balance sheet shows three people injured - and a big question mark as to the cause.
A 24-year-old had to be hospitalized with a head injury.
The police are now investigating two (as yet unknown) rioters for dangerous bodily harm.
The perpetrators are still fleeting.
Brawling youngsters in the English Garden are already noticed in the afternoon
Already in the afternoon, a few groups of their park visitors on the Karl-Theodor-Wiese below the Monopteros in the English Garden noticed because they did not care much about the Corona rules.
It is unclear whether these are the people celebrating on the videos.
Shortly after 6 p.m. there was a verbal argument between two groups: A crowd of people formed on the main path below the small temple.
A handful of young adults started fighting, police report.
A young man smashed a wine bottle on the head of a 24-year-old Augsburg resident who is now in hospital with a traumatic brain injury.
Brawl at the Monopteros: Most of the young people run away
More young people flocked to it, witnesses tell.
The pushing did not end until the police approached.
Most of those involved fled.
The police arrived with around 20 officers, plus the ambulance service.
The patrolling cavalry unit was nearby, but according to the police, they were not used.
In search of the perpetrators, the officials questioned young people on the meadow and recorded personal details.
According to witnesses, some of the people tried to flee again and again.
Police caught them again.
The emergency services only withdrew after just under an hour.
Two other injured people, a 22-year-old and a 23-year-old from Munich, had to go to hospital again, but could be discharged after outpatient treatment.
The investigators do not yet know why the fight broke out.
