India set a world record in daily Corona injuries for the fifth consecutive day, while deaths from the disease also jumped to the highest level ever in the past 24 hours.
And the Indian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 352,991 new injuries, bringing the total number of injuries in the country to more than 17 million, and deaths increased at a record rate of 2,812 new cases, bringing the total to 195,123.
Since last week, India has become the new epicenter of the virus globally, as it has strained the country's health care system, as well as crematoriums, and led to an acute shortage of oxygen.
