District - Three cyclists were injured in accidents in the Dachau district over the weekend.
A 46-year-old had to be flown to a Munich clinic in a rescue helicopter, as the police announced yesterday.
The 46-year-old mountain biker from Vierkirchen was out and about in the forest between Weichs and Fränking at around 5 p.m. on Sunday.
According to the police, he drove down a ramp in the forest's bike park and ended up using a so-called kicker.
On landing, he lost control of his bike, fell and hit a tree.
A rescue helicopter brought the seriously injured person to the Bogenhausen Clinic.
A 53-year-old cyclist from Hebertshausen was slightly injured on Saturday.
It had been overlooked by a 23-year-old Daimler driver who turned right from Gaußstrasse in Dachau into Alte Römerstrasse.
The cyclist was on the cycle path in the direction of Schleissheimer Straße.
The two collided.

In Feldgeding, a 45-year-old cyclist was overlooked by an Opel driver on Sunday.
The 21-year-old driver from Bergkirchen wanted to turn left from Römerstrasse into Kreuzstrasse around 9:20 a.m. and overlooked the oncoming cyclist from Dachau.
There was a collision, in which the cyclist fell and sustained minor injuries.
He had to be admitted to the Dachau Clinic.
There was property damage in the amount of around 2000 euros.
