A 14-year-old Tang dog girl "Big Ear" grew up in the Kowloon funeral parlour. Because of her docile personality, she gradually became acquainted with the neighbourhood. She also barked when she saw the police "copy card", as if to remind the neighbourhood to drive as soon as possible. It is very popular with people because of the use of vehicles.
The darling of this neighborhood was seriously injured by a private car in the middle of the month and died in the veterinary clinic for two days. However, the driver involved did not admit responsibility, which made the neighborhood sad and angry.
Some funeral home employees said frankly that Big Ear is like a guardian dog in a funeral home, and hoped that the government would establish an animal police to pay attention to animal rights.
Da Er will be funeral and cremated today (26th). The dog owner Ming Ge set up a small altar in the place where he often occupies during his lifetime, and put paper mansion, flowers and snacks as sacrifices.

Brother Ming recalled that at close to 8 o'clock in the evening on April 15, a white private car hit the "Big Ear" at the junction of Larch Street and Maple Street in a neighborhood, so he immediately notified Ming.
At that time, Ming was about to change his shirt and finish work. After learning the news, he rushed to the scene to find out the situation, but the big ear had been hit and seriously injured and he was unable to walk.
Ming Ge and his neighbours put the big ear on the trolley, and together they sent it to an animal clinic on Keelung Street for treatment.
Brother Ming said that he stayed at the scene for about an hour that night, but the driver involved did not say a word, and did not identify himself or assume responsibility during the whole process. "I don't know when he will leave."
Severe big ear injury was hospitalized for two days and died
"Big Ear" was not optimistic after being sent to the hospital, but the veterinarian did not recommend humane destruction, and he stayed in the hospital for two or three days to see if there was a turnaround.
Brother Ming said helplessly, "As a result, it worked hard for two days. In the end, it all went away." When the 14-year-old Big Ear was two or three months old, he was raised by a watchman in the building opposite the funeral home.
Since he was young, Da Er has often wandered around the funeral home. Because of his docile personality, he gradually became acquainted with the neighbourhood.
Later, it turned out to be even more unemployed, so Ming took over and adopted Big Ear. Big Ear has been living in the funeral home, with his own bed and so on.
Da Er has lived in the funeral home for more than ten years and has become the darling of the neighborhood.
Brother Ming said bluntly: "There are more people who know Qu (Big Ears) than I know. As a funeral, they know Qu, but you may not be able to call me by name. Many neighborhoods greet him and talk to him. It plays."

The district councillor once pointed out that he had received complaints from the public and learned that a female Tang dog at the junction of Larch Street and Maple Street in Tai Kok Tsui died after being hit by a private car, and the driver of the vehicle that caused the accident went away.
District councillors have written to ask the police to follow up and investigate the incident to find out if anyone is suspected of cruelty to animals or accidental driving.
It is understood that many shops near the scene are equipped with closed-circuit televisions, and all five of the drivers involved are in the car.
After the incident, the driver had been watching the incident nearby, and then left the scene when the dog owner took the dog to see a doctor.
