Charitable initiatives are active during the blessed month of Ramadan to support needy families and vulnerable groups in society in various governorates, where the activities of the civil sector, volunteer teams, economic, sports and social activities vary in order to reach the largest number of beneficiaries.

In this context, the Nada Development Association in Damascus and its countryside, since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, distributed about 1130 food baskets, according to Noha Attia, the chairman of the board of directors of the association, who explained in a statement to SANA that the initiative included the distribution of thousands of breakfast meals that were prepared in the kitchen of Al Nada delicacies, one of the association's development projects.

In Deir Ezzor, under the slogan “Do not cut off the good,” the Al Fatwa Sports and Social Club, in cooperation with the local community in the governorate, launched a campaign to distribute one thousand food baskets to needy families during the month of Ramadan.

The club's social director, Dr. Muhammad Al-Faris stated that the campaign aims to help the most needy families according to specific criteria, whereby the volunteers in the club fill out materials, communicate with deserving people and present the basket .. the gift .. provided by the Fatwa Club, which plays a social role no less important than its Al-Riyadi pointed out that so far, about 500 food baskets have been distributed, and the goal is to reach more than a thousand beneficiaries.

In Al-Hasakah, the Syria Al-Yamamah Charitable Association distributed food aid to the families of the wounded Syrian Arab Army, as part of the "Our Litma Sawa" campaign.

The association’s board chairman, Saeed Al-Khader, stated that the distribution operations included 100 families in the city.
